I’ve been writing poetry and lyrics as long as I can remember.
I think it started back in junior school and just carried on from there.
I still write occasionally, so here you will find a few of my poems and lyrics.
The Visit
I sit in my room all alone
Yet still I feel you’re here
A remnant of your fragrance hangs in the air
I smile as I remember
Your touch,
The look in your eyes
Amy sings her soothing tones
It brings you ever closer
As I sense your breath upon my neck
Your warmth cocoons me
Fire and ice assails my senses
Filling me with emotion
A tear starts its journey down my cheek
And drops to the floor in slow motion
As a voice whispers gently in my ear
“Your not alone, I’m still here”
Vision or Memory
I saw you last night.
You where sitting beside my fire
Candles lighting the room about
Two small children playing at your feet
You had such a look of contentment
The look of someone at peace
The look of someone so in love with life
And those children at your feet
I saw you raise your head slightly
And gift me a glorious smile
It seemed that no words where needed
Yet you still said them every little while
I saw you beside my fire tonight
I saw the woman I love
And playing in a distant memory
I saw our children at your feet

Call lost and found
Lost lust for living
Too close to the ground
A headful of nowhere
No love, no hope
Looking for answers
You wont find in dope
You say life is empty
(Lost emotions)
You just wanna die
(Empty sensations)
But you don’t see my heartbreak
Everytime I see you cry
You say love is hopeless
(Midnight visitations)
No longer can fly
(Past recriminations)
But you don’t see my tears
Everytime I see you cry
Headspun and lonely
A heart on the run
Backwards aint answers
Just repeat fun
Lil girl lost
Whats done is done
Looking for answers
but maybe theres none
